Finally, a Gluten Free Sourdough Class available to attend in Minnesota. Ready to master Gluten Free sourdough once and for all? Join me, The Sourdough Lady, for a hands-on, beginner-friendly class in the cozy setting of Wandering Leaf Brewing Company in St Paul, MN. This interactive 2-hour workshop is the perfect introduction to the world of Gluten Free sourdough baking.

Whether you’re brand new to GF sourdough or you’ve tried and struggled, this class will demystify the process and give you the confidence to bake delicious, naturally fermented bread in your own kitchen.

This class and the recipes/ingredients used are dairy free, gluten free, nut free, and egg free.

What we’ll cover:

  • How GF sourdough works & how it’s different from regular sourdough

  • How to feed, care for, and maintain your own GF sourdough starter

  • Mixing dough, bulk fermentation/dough rise

  • Cold Fermentation, Baking & Storing GF sourdough bread

  • Ingredients and recommended tools

  • Tips & tricks for GF sourdough success and plenty of time for Q&A

What to bring:

  • One medium sized bowl (for mixing and taking your dough home)

What you’ll take home:

  • A jar of my Gluten Free Sourdough Starter, fed and active

  • Your own dough, ready to finish fermenting, and bake an Artisan Gluten Free sourdough loaf at home

  • GF Focaccia to bake at home

  • A printed recipe card and starter care guide

  • A follow-up email with bonus GF sourdough recipes and tool links

In a special October event, Grotesque Fest is partnering with Hellavision Television Network to guide you between spaces haunted by the strangest, creepy crawliest, existential dread-inducing indie animated films HVTV has ever aired! Your journey into the abyss wouldn’t be complete without grabbing a drink from our gateway host Wandering Leaf Brewing Co. They’ll have special October Release Beers, all the THC drinks you already know and love, plus some great N/A options!

Join us for Drag Queen Charity Bingo! Each month, we select a different 501(c)3 charity to highlight.

This month the charity is Imperial Court of Minnesota! The Imperial Court of Minnesota is a local Chapter of an International organization whose focus is to build a better community through volunteer work and community outreach with an emphasis on fundraising.

Each bingo card is a suggested $5 cash donation per card and 100% goes to the organization.

WHO: This workshop is great for all levels of planters, whether you are a beginner or experienced. The beauty about terrariums is that you don't need much of a green thumb to maintain them because they thrive in low light environments and are mostly self-sustaining ecosystems.

COST: The $75 cost covers all of the materials, plants, and you will receive 1 beer tokens that can be used during the class or redeemed at a later date. The token can also be used for non-alcoholic drinks.Space is limited, so sign up early!

Join us at Wandering Leaf Brewing in St Paul, MN for a festive workshop of spooky fun and pretty lettering for beginners!

Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!

Class includes a BOGO beverage coupon + 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop.

Additionally, we will be lettering on faux pumpkins at the end of our class time!
